Yes, absolutely! Many of our customers use their Vibe board as a personal entertainment center.
The most common way to watch TV on Vibe is to use your favorite streaming services - simply download these Android apps from the Vibe store (or the Google Play store) to be able to watch shows and movies on Vibe.
Here are some of the current 3rd party applications that are supported on Vibe:
- Amazon Prime Video
- AT&T TV
- Sling TV
Have another streaming service in mind that has an Android app?
Let us know - We'd be happy to investigate potential compatibility with Vibe for you.
Using HDMI input with another device
While Vibe also has an HDMI input port, it will not work with all cable box and gaming systems.
To test if Vibe will work with your cable box or gaming system - simply plug in your box via HDMI in as you would for your TV. (Please note there is not a TV tuner built into Vibe.)
Vibe is compatible with the following devices that can be connected via HDMI:
- Apple TV
- Amazon Firestick
- Nintendo Switch
Note: Vibe's HDMI in does not support 4K, it can only support 1080p or 720p. Some customers have used a device splitter accessory (such as this).
Note: Vibe runs on HDMI 1.4b and HDCP 1.4a and does not support audio return path and HDMI Ethernet channels.
